Recorte del artículo "Zurita, ¿por qué te rompes?", escrito por Octavio Gallardo y publicado por Diario La Nación el 30 de marzo del 2008. El texto se basa en una entrevista de Gallardo con Raúl Zurita, en la que se abordan, entre otros temas, la entrega de dos escritos, “Las ciudades de agua” e “In memoriam”, que anticipan el megaproyecto de carácter autobiográfico del autor, titulado “Zurita”. A partir de ello, emergen referencias a la tortura, el fallecimiento de su padre, los amores fallidos y el abandono de sus hijos.
