La carta de C. W. Briggs informa al señor Téllez que se complace en establecer contacto con él en relación con la propuesta para ocupar el cargo de profesor académico durante el período 1966-1967. En la misiva se menciona que el profesor Lee Chesney, quien habitualmente desempeña dicho cargo, se encuentra en año sabático y fue quien sugirió comunicarse con Téllez.
