Segunda parte del manuscrito impreso de la obra Oh, maligna de Jorge Edwards. En ella, se recrea la historia detrás del poema El tango del viudo, de su amigo Pablo Neruda. En la novela, se narra la historia de la juventud de Neruda en sus pasos por Birmania en 1927, donde conoció y se relacionó posteriormente con Josie Bliss.
Los hechos que desencadenaron este encuentro amoroso terminaron por obligar al poeta a huir a Ceilán, hoy conocido como Sri Lanka.
