Se infiere que estos poemas fueron enviados como material anexo a una carta, ya que uno de los poemas contiene una nota manuscrita del autor, que señala "Te envío, también, estos tres poemas. "Iceberg", creo yo, no me deja tan mal del todo y da pie para varias lecturas, varios ritmos. Los otros dos no pasan del monólogo del sudamericano marginal y medio salvaje".
