Chileno. Poeta, matemático y físico cuya obra ha tenido una profunda influencia en la literatura hispanoamericana, considerado el creador de la antipoesía. Ha sido galardonado con el Premio Nacional de Literatura 1969 y con el Cervantes 2011, entre otros.
