La carta de Carmen Waugh busca, en un principio, ser una disculpa por comportamientos pasados. Posteriormente, se le solicita a Téllez el envío de algunos grabados y se le informa que su padre ha pedido que se le envíen unos cuadros de Téllez a casa, pues conocía a un comprador. Waugh se negó a hacer el envío sin el permiso del artista, aunque este fuera su padre. Espera que puedan verse pronto y envía saludos al despedirse.
