Carta de Carlos Droguett al escritor Arturo Barea, enviada de Santiago a Londres el 29 de octubre de 1953. En esta, Droguett se refiere a las reacciones que produjo en él la carta enviada previamente por Barea, señalando que su tardía respuesta se debe, por una parte, a la traducción y próxima publicación de algunos de sus cuentos por parte de Francis de Miomandre en la revista Les Nouvelles Littéraires y, por otra, a la obtención del premio del concurso literario organizado por Editorial Nascimento. Finalmente, le envía una novela para que sea leída y comentada críticamente por Barea y su esposa.
