En la carta de Jorge, dirigida a Eugenio Téllez, el remitente explica que necesita que él vaya a revisar si hay correspondencia para él y, en caso de que sean muchas cartas, que las lea en su nombre. Esto se debe a que han estado ocurriendo situaciones en su familia. Si, a juicio del destinatario, las cartas no pueden esperar para ser leídas, le solicita que se las envíe o que le resuma lo que haya leído en su próxima correspondencia. Se despide disculpándose por pedirle tantos favores.
